During last 24 hours, 3 out of 89 people diagnosed in the laboratory have been infected with coronavirus.
An 85-year-old Ethiopian man who was previously confirmed to be infected has recovered.
The number of people infected with coronavirus in Ethiopia has risen to 38, including three found in the last 24 hours.
The Minister of Health, Dr. Lia Tadesse, said all three individuals who were confirmed to be infected today have a history of traveling abroad and all are in Addis Ababa.
“The first person was a 29-year-old man who came from Dubai on March 10, 2012 and had close contact with a person who was infected,” he said.
The second 34-year-old man was identified from Dubai on March 23, 2012, and was in detention and close contact with a person infected with the virus.
The third, a 35-year-old woman, came from Sweden on March 25, 2012 and was in custody.
According to Dr. Leia, 4 people have recovered from the virus today, including 85 who have recovered from the virus.
In Addis Ababa and Adama, 641 cases have been diagnosed so far, including 510 cases. The rest of the outcome is also pending.
