If there are no heirs up to the fourth degree to inherit the deceased, then the issue needs to be addressed in accordance with article 852 of the Civil Code
According to this provision, if there are no relatives, the inheritance of the deceased will be transferred to the government. “Absence of relatives” includes cases in which legal heirs renounce the inheritance and there are no relatives to claim the inheritance.
