National Electoral Board will announce final results this week

The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) disclosed today that it will announce the final results the election this week.

The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) Communications Head, Soliana Shimeles, said in a statement that the results of all the constituencies have been counted.

“The results of last week’s election, which did not reach the Board last week, have now been finalized,” she said.

Therefore, the Board will announce the final results this week.

In her statement, the official said that the counting of votes in the constituency of Kucha constituency has reached Addis Ababa and the counting will continue in the presence the seven political parties.

Additionally, 30 polling stations in Negele constituency will go to the polls on Thursday, July 1, 2013.
